Process
01 Initial Consultation
An initial consultation takes place to talk through your project and establish which areas need our design input. Following this briefing, we create a detailed fee proposal outlining our design services and the costs involved.
02 Concept Design
On approval of the fee proposal, we create an overall design concept for the project, producing floor plan options and a design direction.
03 Design Development
In this phase, we design and select fit-out items, such as finishes, cabinetry, lighting and furniture. We also create 3D views and present physical materials to help visualise the space.
04 Documentation
We develop a documentation package for tender and construction, including detailed CAD drawings and schedules. In this phase, we also manage building consent applications if this is required.
05 Procurement
Once the design has been finalised, we manage the procurement of products, passing on preferential rates, and oversee the delivery to site according to the build schedule.
06 Project Delivery
Overseeing the delivery of the project, we manage the tender process and liaise with the building contractor and client on the construction program. We carry out routine site inspections, respond to site queries and provide supplementary information to ensure the approved design is followed.
