Mt Eden Heritage Home

Currently on site, this project involves the thoughtful renovation of a heritage home with Jones Architects, where we design all interiors to complement the home’s historic charm. We seamlessly blend original features, such as the timber staircase, coffered ceiling, and leadlight windows, with contemporary detailing, finishes and furniture.

In this kitchen, bar and dining room design, the elegance of the coffered ceiling harmonizes with the clean, modern lines of the cabinetry. The timber cabinetry is crafted to reflect traditional craftsman shaker design while incorporating modern elements, such as sleek hardware and integrated appliances. The marble countertops and backsplash add a touch of luxury, balancing the natural warmth of the timber and herringbone flooring. The carefully selected vintage dining furniture, featuring leather and chrome Thonet chairs, enhances the overall aesthetic and adds an edge of masculinity to create a space that is both timeless and cohesive.

This harmonious mix of design styles results in a living space that honors the past while embracing modern comforts.
